The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office has authorized CSG Consultants as a Third Party Plan Review option for Fire and Life Safety plans.  If you choose to use us as your provider, please first see the Third-Party Building Plan Review Option Guide. 

Note, if your project is already submitted to the state Oklahoma Sate Fire Marshals office, it is your responsibility to get the plans and documents from them. CSG does not have access into their systems.

When plans are approved, it is your responsibility to make prints and take them to the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s office to obtain your permit. It is our understanding the State Fire Marshal may, at their discretion, further review your physical prints for completeness prior to permit issuance.

The Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office requires each building to be permitted separately. Only in cases where buildings can be grouped together to form one may they be submitted as a single building.

PLEASE SUBMIT EACH BUILDING APPLICATION (INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP OF BUILDINGS) SEPARATELY.

Download, complete and submit the proper application form for your project, again selecting between New Construction and Existing Building.

Submittal PDF Preparation

Have all your submittal files prepared in PDF format, as prescribed on the home page. Improperly collated or poorly formatted files will result in delays for your project.

When submitting plans – the appropriate checklist AND Application form are required to be submitted with the plans.  If you have already completed the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office forms, those may be used in-lieu of the CSG forms.

 

Project Submittal Payment

All submittals are required to pay the following:

• Hourly rate of $175, minimum of 4 hours

An additional $25 convenience fee will be assessed for administering this online submittal process.

Should your project require more than 4 hours of review, our staff will reach out directly to coordinate.

The total charge today for each submittal will be $725. Please have a credit card ready.
